In a way, they felt a little less like true metal gear games as a result. ![]() I can remember being blown away by the music, playing the amazing demo disc included with ZOE, the fantastic attentions to detail like the breaking glass bottles and melting ice, everything about this game seemed like such a leap forward compared to everything else at the time, not to mention the amazing cinematics and sound design/soundtrack, which had far surpassed even the previous game.Įven now I find it a damn shame that the copyright issues happened with the theme because it really hurt MGS4/Peace Walker/MGSV missing it. When I get nostalgic for games, this is absolutely one of them. I was probably too young to be playing it (11 at the time) and many of the themes went over my head, but revisiting it later made me appreciate how insightful it really was. ![]() Even 20 years later, this game just makes me so happy. ![]()
